Edinburgh Charity Fashion Show 3D Animation

The ECFS Director contacted Dunedin Arts looking for a high impact animated 3D short to kick off the 2007 ECFS.

The final animation was projected at life size proportions onto at paperburst at the end of the catwalk. The final poses matching the real models as they burst through to start the show. After his first time working with Dunedin Arts, here is what Director Ben Strebel had to say:

'After the first meeting with ‘Dunedin-Arts’, I perceived a feeling of overt enthusiasm and passion within this young group of animators and designers.'

'From just an hour’s presentation of the script and storyboard and a detailed discussion, the concept had been realised. A week later the final project was visualised and received exactly as had been planned and the way I had imagined it in my head. A slick, futuristic and objective story, that retains a sense of the events' underlying corporate feel.'

'I believe ‘Dunedin-Arts’ proved just how viable communication in the future will be having based the execution of this video almost entirely via discourses on the internet. '
